Matthew Freedman's Favorites & Fades For Week 6 Fantasy Football
Welcome to Freedman's Favorites and Fades for Week 6 of the fantasy football season.
It's Week 6.
Here's what I said about it last year.
We officially have a middle-aged NFL regular season.
If it were a man, it would have stubble on its face, bags under its eyes, whiskey on its breath, and a solo Mark Lanegan record playing on repeat in its head.
Or maybe that's just me.
Honestly, my thoughts haven't changed much in a year.
I might add "screaming baby in the background" to that list … but, again, that's maybe just me. Probably so.
Also, I've switched from Mark Lanegan to Neil Young, not because I actually prefer Young but because I've been trying off and on to work through his catalog for what feels like years. At this point, I simply want to be done with it.
And Week 6 feels like the perfect time to punish myself with his high, whiny voice, overrated guitar playing, and sophomoric songwriting.
Other than that, though, the guy's a hell of a musician.
Let's get into the Week 6 edition of Freedman's Favorites & Fades.
