Freedman's Favorites and Fades For Week 4 Fantasy Football

Introducing ... Matthew Freedman's favorite (and least favorite) fantasy football plays for Week 4.

Week 4. It's always one of my favorite football weeks of the year.

Usually it's when we get the first London game of the season.

"Sorry, honey, I can't hang out with the family right now. The NFL has an England game kicking off in about 30 minutes. I know, right? So annoying. I definitely don't want to watch football and drink Mike's Hard Lemonade this early in the morning, but that's the job, you know? By the way, can you heat up some of that leftover meatloaf and bring it on down to the man cave? Thanks, babe, you're the best!"

Plus, this is the first point in the season where I fully focus on matchup data from this year and pretty much ignore the defensive numbers from last year.

In Week 4, we now have three games to analyze for each team, three distinct data points to consider.

One point is almost meaningless. It exists by itself in the infinite nothingness of space and time.

But two points form a line. They give us directionality.

And three points form a triangle. They give us dimensionality.

In other words: By Week 4, the season has truly started to take shape.

We still don't know exactly how massive this monster will grow to be, but at least we know now the kind of beast we're dealing with.
