Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings Update: Riding High With Javonte Williams

We all relish those sleeper picks that have the potential to launch your team into title contention. Here are a handful of players that, if things fall their way, could far outperform their current dynasty rankings.

Updated Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings

Kyler Murray | QB | Vikings

It's been half a decade since we saw Kyler Murray post consecutive top-6 fantasy finishes, but there's ample reason to believe he's a prime candidate to resurrect his dynasty value this upcoming season.

After a tumultuous tenure with the Cardinals, the former No. 1 overall pick heads to Minnesota, where he'll have every opportunity to start Week 1. All he needs to do is beat out J.J. McCarthy, which, if we're being candid, shouldn't be overly challenging.

Injuries have been his biggest challenge in recent seasons. A torn ACL cost him the second half of the 2022 season and the first half of the 2023 season. Just last year, a foot injury limited him to just five games. However, if we thread the needle and look at his 2024 season, we can see some positive takeaways.

2024 was the year Murray was another year removed from his ACL injury, and he played in all 17 games. He posted his second-highest marks in both passing yards (3,851) and rushing yards (572). His 5 rushing TDs also tied for the second most in his career. Still just 28 years old, Murray has plenty left in the tank, and now he gets the chance to work with Kevin O'Connell, Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison.

Murray may not have ever thrown for 4,000 yards in a single season, but his fantasy value has always been elevated by his rushing ability. I would be very comfortable targeting Murray in dynasty formats this offseason.

If everything clicks and Murray finds his groove in Minnesota, his dynasty value will have skyrocketed by this time next year.

Javonte Williams | RB | Cowboys

I've talked plenty about Javonte Williams this offseason and I'm going to squeeze in another dash of pro-Williams propaganda this week.

Widely regarded as one of the best draft values last season, Williams remains someone who, should the stars align once again, should have no problem beating out his current ADP in all formats.

After spending his first four seasons with the Denver Broncos, Williams set career-high marks across the board in his first season with the Cowboys last year:

252 rushing attempts
1,201 rushing yards
13 total TDs

The Cowboys offense should, once again, be pretty potent. Dallas is running out of time (and excuses) to make a deep playoff push, and Willams should once again be at the center of a high-octane offense that will score plenty of points.

For added context, our own Danny Cross had this to say about Williams' 2025 season:

Javonte legitimately played well last year, ranking fifth at the position with 3.56 yards after contact per attempt, according to PFF. His 54 forced missed tackles were seventh-best, and he was 12th with 26 explosive runs (10+ yards). It's easy to forget this guy is only 26 and still has some juice.

Even in single-season formats, our projections have Williams slated to score the sixth-most rushing TDs by an RB in 2026. If some positive variance goes his way, he could find himself finishing among the league's best at the position by the end of the season.

Finally, Williams is locked into a healthy contract for the next several seasons. The stars of this Dallas offense are under contract and loaded for the foreseeable future. Get Williams on your roster and enjoy the fruits of a high-powered offense.

Chris Olave | WR | Saints

The New Orleans Saints have quickly become one of the buzziest teams this offseason that by the time Week 1 rolls around, they're going to be at the top of every "Sleeper Team" list that you can find.

To be fair, I'm not disagreeing with any of that. The Saints have made all the right moves this offseason and I believe it starts with Tyler Shough, who, at 26-years old, is the one of the oldest Year 2 QBs we've seen in quite some time.\

Over Shough's final eight games last season, he averaged nearly 23 points per game. He averaged 2.0 designed rush attempts, 1.9 scrambles and nearly 20 rushing yards per game. Those are more than serviceable numbers for a first-year QB whose only legit weapon was Chris Olave.

New Orleans also offers a fantasy-friendly environment that Shough should thrive in. In 2025, led by first-year HC Kellen Moore, the Saints ran no-huddle 22.7% of the time, trailing only the Washington Commanders. They also averaged a league-leading 2.2 plays per minute.

The Saints then went and added Travis Etienne and Jordyn Tyson to this offense to give it even more pop.

All this is to say that Olave is going to absolutely feast and the general consensus has him as a middling WR2. Within his range of outcomes is the opportunity for this 26-year old veteran in his prime to go absolutely nuclear. You don't wanna miss this ride.

Matthew Berry's Half-PPR Fantasy Football Rankings

Tucker Kraft | TE | Packers

This one is tricky to parse out because both his current dynasty ADP and my dynasty ranking of him are pretty high already.

Even so, there's room for even more. Believe me.

You know I had to find a way to squeeze Tucker Kraft into this column. After a mini-breakout season back in 2024, Kraft was well on his way to going nuclear in his third season (2025). Unfortunately, a torn ACL cut last year short, but there are plenty of things to get excited about for the Green and Gold.

Over his first seven games, before getting injured in his eighth game, here were his averages:

5.9 targets
67 receiving yards
6 total TDs

The Packers have notoriously not had a true No. 1 target since the days of Davante Adams, but it's looking like the target distribution is going to get condensed this season. That would mean great things for fantasy managers who roster players like Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden.

Kraft's offseason recovery appears to be going well. Of course, everyone is always ahead of schedule and feeling great, so we need to take that with a grain of salt. At the same time, Kraft himself said he's optimistic about playing without any snap-count restrictions come Week 1. The Packers have historically been cautious with injuries to their star players, but I am (perhaps biasedly) confident in Kraft having an excellent 2026 campaign.

The targets will be more condensed in Green Bay this season, which will mean more opportunity for massive, breakout performances from Kraft. Get in on the excitement before it's too late.
