Anytime TD Picks for Week 6: Tight Ends Set to Score
Justin Carlucci shares three tight ends he's betting on to find the end zone in Week 6, including Tyler Warren vs. the Titans' struggling defense.
We’re going tight end shopping for our Week 6 touchdown bets, and there’s something for everyone here. All odds are via FanDuel. Let’s get into the picks!
Anytime TD Picks for Week 6
Tyler Warren Anytime Touchdown (+150)
This is a great price for Tyler Warren against the worst team in football, the Tennessee Titans.
Tennessee’s secondary took several injury hits last week, and this defense still hasn’t figured out Robert Saleh’s new scheme. That’s not exactly a combination that scares me away from targeting an opposing pass catcher.
But the appeal with Warren goes beyond a friendly matchup. His usage near the goal line is elite.
Warren is tied for the team lead with a 96% snap share inside the 5-yard line, and he leads the team with a 92% snap share inside the 10. When Indianapolis gets into scoring position, he’s almost always part of the equation.
He also has a path to tush-pushing his way into the end zone. Having that extra out is a nice bonus when you’re betting on a tight end to score. We don’t necessarily need a perfectly placed pass or a busted coverage.
Sometimes, we just need a little friendly shove!
When the touchdowns come for Warren, they could come in bunches. Against this defense, I’m happy to take +150 and see whether the cards break his way.
Pat Freiermuth Anytime Touchdown (+320)
It feels like Pat Freiermuth has been around forever, but the veteran has put together an excellent start to the 2026 season.
More importantly for this bet, Pittsburgh is slinging the ever-living crap out of the football near the end zone.
The Steelers are throwing at an 81% clip inside the 10-yard line and a league-leading 75% clip inside the 20. Forget about establishing the run for Aaron Rodgers!
Freiermuth has played 75% of the team’s snaps inside the 20, where he also leads the Steelers with five targets. His three end-zone targets are tied for the team lead.
The matchup fits too. Todd Bowles’ defenses have historically prioritized shutting down the running game and forcing opponents to throw. That funnel plays into what Pittsburgh already wants to do in scoring territory.
Charlie Kolar Anytime Touchdown (+550)
Alright, I’ll give you a gross one.
There was a point in August when people were actually talking about Charlie Kolar. I know, the bar for Charlie Kolar “buzz” is pretty low here, but he briefly sat atop the Chargers’ depth chart before injuries interrupted things.
It seemed ridiculous that Kolar was originally listed as the team’s TE1. But as the preseason closed and Week 1 rolled around, it became evident that for some reason, the Chargers wanted to utilize Kolar as much more than just a pass-blocker.
He missed Weeks 3 and 4, then returned last week and played both of the team’s snaps inside the 5-yard line.
Across the games he’s played this season, Kolar has also logged eight of the Chargers’ 12 snaps inside the 10. Now, David Njoku is out, and Mike McDaniel still hasn’t unlocked Oronde Gadsden.
Why not? Seems like a reasonable sprinkle in a game where the Chargers should be forced to throw.
Good luck!
