Terrance Ferguson Fantasy Football Value: An Enticing Last-Round Click With Upside
Ian Hartitz breaks down why Terrance Ferguson could be a worthwhile click in the last rounds of your 2026 fantasy football drafts.
After showing flashes of promise in his rookie season, will we see a Year 2 leap for Rams TE Terrance Ferguson? Ian Hartitz dives into what to expect from the sophomore pass catcher in his 2026 Los Angeles Rams Team Preview.
Can You Trust Terrance Ferguson & The Rams TEs In 2026 Fantasy Football?
- TE1: Terrance Ferguson (TE26 in our consensus fantasy football rankings)
- TE2: Colby Parkinson (TE34)
- TE3: Max Klare (TE38)
- TE4: Tyler Higbee (TE45)
Rams tight ends collectively scored the second-most PPR points in the league, but their committee usage led to Colby Parkinson (TE22) being the top scorer. That's pretty f*cking crazy, man!
Parkinson did emerge as a fairly lethal red zone threat with both Adams and Tyler Higbee sidelined late in the regular season, but it's fair to wonder if that sort of usage will persist with a healthier Higbee and multiple young pass-catching-friendly options also on the come up.
Fantasy Life rankers are in agreement that rising second-year talent Terrance Ferguson probably possesses the most raw upside of the group. He flashed some high-end pass-catching talent as a rookie, and hey, McVay certainly had some nice things to say about him last February:
"I think he’s a total stud. I think the future’s incredibly bright. … he's got an incredibly high ceiling, particularly as a receiver, where he can be able to make plays short, intermediate, down the field. He can win from different locations, whether that's attached, whether that's in the slot or out wide. And I think we can maximize on all of those things. … But I'm really, really excited about him. … He's everything and that much more than I hoped he would be, and I had tremendously high hopes for him. I think that he's going to be a huge part of what we're going to do for years to come."
Now, McVay is known for chatting up his guys with positive coach speak, and Ferguson's TE27 ranking reflects the reality that it's still unlikely any party involved receives enough consistent volume to be overly dependable in fantasy land … but man: Ferguson's ability to win both inline and as a true receiver makes him an awfully enticing near-last-round click in best-ball, TEP and dynasty formats.
