Matthew Berry's Week 6 Fantasy Football Love/Hate Recap

Pass Catchers Matthew Berry Loves

Mike Evans vs. WSH (WR4)
Drake London vs. CHI (WR6)
Matthew Golden vs. DAL (WR11)
George Kittle vs. WSH (TE3)

Berry’s got two big themes here: Washington’s defense is a buffet for pass catchers, and London and Golden come with usage you can bank on. Evans’ and Kittle’s cases come down to a Commanders defense that has been a nightmare for their positions.

Others receiving votes: Denzel Boston vs. BAL (WR24), Josh Downs vs. TEN (WR26), Tre Tucker vs. BUF (WR33), Dallas Goedert vs. CAR (TE8), Pat Freiermuth @ TB (TE11). Soft matchups and real roles across the board.

Pass Catchers Matthew Berry Hates

Jaylen Waddle vs. SEA (WR28)
Emeka Egbuka vs. PIT (WR34)
Kyle Pitts vs. CHI (TE18)

Berry’s fading these three because of a mix of ugly matchups and shaky quarterback situations. Seattle is a problem for Waddle, and Egbuka and Pitts have both struggled to get fed lately.

Running Backs Matthew Berry Loves

Kyren Williams vs. ARI (RB5)
Javonte Williams @ GB (RB8)
Rhamondre Stevenson vs. NYJ (RB9)

Berry likes the volume on all three, and all three get defenses that have been leaking against the run. Kyren’s usage lately has been elite, and Javonte’s role near the goal line is a big part of his case.

Others receiving votes: Bhayshul Tuten vs. HOU in London (RB16), Cam Skattebo vs. NO (RB18), MarShawn Lloyd vs. DAL (RB20), Kendre Miller @ NYG. Berry’s got workloads trending up or matchups worth chasing for each.

Running Backs Matthew Berry Hates

Woody Marks vs. JAX in London (RB22)
J.K. Dobbins vs. SEA (RB27)
Jacory Croskey-Merritt @ SF (RB29)

Berry’s steering clear of all three. Marks and Dobbins both face run defenses that have been shutting backs down, and Croskey-Merritt has a role problem on top of a tough spot.

Quarterbacks Matthew Berry Loves

Quick QB news first: Caleb Williams practiced in full Wednesday (Berry Rank: QB8), and Atlanta’s pass defense and a big Bears implied total make this a spot to watch. Jalen Hurts has also been ruled out for Sunday, with Tanner McKee slated to start.

Brock Purdy vs. WSH (QB2)
Matthew Stafford vs. ARI (QB4)
Jordan Love vs. DAL (QB5)

Berry’s loading up on quarterbacks in high-scoring games against defenses that can’t slow down the pass. Purdy gets the Commanders, Stafford gets the Cardinals, and Love is in one of the best shootouts on the Week 6 board.

Others receiving votes: Dak Prescott @ GB (QB6), Kirk Cousins vs. BUF (QB13), Jacoby Brissett @ LAR (QB15). Berry likes the game environments for all three, and Brissett’s volume is the one that jumps off the page.

Quarterbacks Matthew Berry Hates

Bo Nix vs. SEA (QB23)
Justin Herbert @ KC (QB25)

Berry’s staying away from both. Nix has the toughest pass defense in football waiting for him, and Herbert has been stuck in a scoring rut with the lowest team total on the slate.
