Green Bay Packers Fantasy Football Team Preview For 2026

Ian Hartitz analyzes the Green Bay Packers offense for fantasy football ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

The Packers were sitting pretty at 9-3-1 in early December and looked capable of competing with anyone at the top of the NFC … and then they lost their last five games, ultimately getting bounced in the Wild Card round (again).

Of course, late-season injuries to Jordan Love and Micah Parsons certainly didn't help matters—this remained a very good football team when given the benefit of decent health.

Fast forward to 2026, and Matt LaFleur's group looks primed to keep on keeping on as one of the better squads in the conference. Yes, the NFC North looks as loaded as ever. Also yes, the Packers are arguably the favorites thanks to their potential to boast top-10 units on both sides of the football.

What follows is a fantasy-focused team preview of the Green Bay Packers ahead of the 2026 season. Make sure to check out Fantasy Life's rankings hub for updated player ranks all year long.

As always: It's a great day to be great.

Can Jordan Love get back to partying like it's 2023 (at least in fantasy land)?

Plenty of nerdy efficiency metrics paint Love as one of the game's better QBs since taking over in 2023:

Love among 42 QBs with 500+ dropbacks in 2023-25 (including playoffs):

  • EPA per dropback: +0.21 (3rd)
  • Completion percentage over expected: +2.2% (15th)
  • Success rate: 49.1% (11th)
  • Yards per attempt: 7.6 (8th)
  • Passer rating: 97.2 (12th)
  • PFF pass grade: 88.7 (5th)

The man has also been particularly lethal in 3rd-and-long situations: Only Brock Purdy (33.3%), Josh Allen (29%) and Joe Burrow (28.7%) have better first-down pass rates on 3rd-and-8+ than Love (28.2%) since 2023.

Please give Jordan Love more passing attempts

Should you continue to trust Josh Jacobs as a fantasy RB1?

Jacobs has racked up 2,882 total yards and 30 touchdowns in 32 regular-season games with the Packers. That's been good for RB8 and RB10 finishes in PPR points per game, although the latter figure could have been even higher if it weren't for a lingering knee injury that he suffered in Week 11 and then re-aggravated in Week 15. That latter injury, combined with an ankle issue, really seemed to (Bob) sap a lot of Jacobs' juice, as he turned his last 35 carries into just 94 yards (2.7 yards per carry) and zero touchdowns.

Can Jacobs be a workhorse RB again?

Do the Packers finally have a solidified pecking order at wide receiver?

It looks that way after the Packers shipped Dontayvion Wicks off to Philly and let Romeo Doubs sign with the Patriots in free agency. This *should* leave this WR room consolidated around three key parties for the first time in a minute.

What can the Big 3 WRs do for the Packers?

Can Tucker Kraft pick up where he left off in 2025 before his injury?

It sure would be cool if he did. After all, Kraft's 14.7 PPR points per game wound up being good for the fourth-highest mark at the position last season, and he's sitting pretty as the TE2 behind only Trey McBride if you don't include his injury-shortened Week 9 affair.

Please be healthy, Tucker Kraft

Win total prediction: Matt LaFleur won 13 games in each of his first three seasons in Green Bay, but has  captured "only" 8, 9, 11 and 9 victories in four years since. The team's overall offseason moves in free agency and the draft left a bit to be desired, especially considering ex-Cardinals head coach/new Packers defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon hasn't exactly earned the benefit of the doubt at dominating on his side of the football. I'm taking under 10.5 wins out of respect for how tough the NFC North is, more than anything.

Bold fantasy call: Jordan Love enjoys a clean bill of health and posts a top-10 fantasy finish on the back of 32 passing touchdowns *and* his most rushing production since his rookie season.

Last season predictions: Over 9.5 wins (so close, yet so far away), and Jayden Reed solidifies himself as THE WR1 in Green Bay on his way to a top-30 finish (damn you, Injury Gods).
