Hello. Hi there.

I'm Matthew.

Well, I'm a Matthew.

I'm not Matthew Berry.

Still, I'm a Matthew who works for Fantasy Life and writes each week about players I like and dislike (my favorites and fades, the guys I'm upgrading and downgrading) … but I'm not Matthew Berry.

I'm just one of the Matthews in his employ.

While I imagine that Matthew has a pretty sweet life (the dude was in Avengers: Endgame, and he has written a New York Times bestseller, for the love of the football gawds!), I should say that not being Mr. Berry probably has a few benefits.

Firstly, I don't get big-name celebrities hitting me up on social media, sending me text messages, and bombarding me with emails to ask for fantasy advice. I mean, that sounds dreadful. I definitely don't want that. I'm not jealous.

Secondly, I don't need to play in multiple fantasy leagues with said A-listers. That would be terrible beyond description. I'd have no words to use to detail the agony of that actuality. Pure pain. 

And thirdly (and perhaps most importantly and pertinently at present), no one expects me to write witty 5,000-word introductions.
