What are the Guillotines League Player Rankings?

Fantasy Life’s 2025 Guillotine League NFL Player Rankings operate in the same fashion that traditional fantasy football weekly rankings do – they help guide you in deciding who to start and who to sit each week, and specifically for Guillotine Leagues, in particular.

Sortable by both team and position, users can drill down these rankings to analyze the dynamics among both positions and within the same team.

Who Provides the Guillotines League Player Rankings?

The rankings are provided by Paul Charchian, founder of Guillotine Leagues. A member of the Fantasy Sports Hall of Fame (2013), Paul is also the former president of the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association.

Using Paul Charchian's Fantasy Football Rankings for Guillotine Leagues

Using the Guillotine Leagues player rankings is rather straightforward. See below for a brief explanation of what’s included in the tool:

  • #: The “#” column on the table is a dynamic ranking column. This means that however you sort your rankings, this will reflect the updated order from first to last. For example, if you sort by position, this is your key to see their positional rankings, whereas the rankings under the “Overall” column indicate their overall weekly ranking for Guillotine Leagues.
     
  • Player: Player being ranked
     
  • Team: the team that the ranked player plays for
     
  • Position: the ranked player’s position
     
  • Grade: Charch's number grade (1-5), highlighting the likelihood of the player disappointing you on game day (low grade = high risk).
     
  • Games: The projected number of playoff appearances for the player.

Here’s how a guillotine league works: You start with 18 teams, because there are 18 weeks in an NFL season. There are no head-to-head matchups. Instead, each week, the low-scoring team gets chopped from the league, and their roster goes to the waiver wire. The last team standing wins.
