NFL Player Prediction Market Props to Trade for Week 3: Buy Justin Jefferson with Kyler Murray Returning

Week 3 is a good time to take advantage of prediction market player props that still have some uncertainty baked into the price. Whether it is a huge favorite with a clear game script, an elite receiver getting his quarterback back, or an under-the-radar No. 2 wideout in a negative script, there are a few Kalshi contracts I like. Let’s check out some props.

Kenneth Walker First Touchdown

Yes at 23 cents on Kalshi

The Chiefs are massive favorites against Miami, and Kenneth Walker is the first-touchdown trade I want to take a shot on.
Kansas City has been clear about how it wants to win: run the football, let Patrick Mahomes take over when needed, and play enough defense to control the game. Walker has looked fantastic through two weeks, forcing the most missed tackles in football while handling a massive role in this offense.

He’s been the centerpiece of Kansas City’s ground game while also remaining a legitimate option as a receiver. The Chiefs are not hiding their plan here.

Miami has struggled to sustain offense, and Bobby Slowik has not done enough to play toward Malik Willis’ strengths. Willis has just one designed rushing attempt through two weeks, which is inexcusable considering his athleticism is one of the clearest ways Miami can create offense.

That leaves the Dolphins vulnerable to getting buried early.

Kansas City should be able to establish the run, take control of the game and generate multiple scoring opportunities. Walker is heavily favored to score at any point, but a 23-cent first-touchdown contract is a worthwhile shot in a game where the Chiefs could dictate the script from the opening possession.

Justin Jefferson 80+ Receiving Yards

Justin Jefferson gets Kyler Murray back this week, and I think this is a nice time to buy 80-plus receiving yards at 40 cents.
Tampa Bay has one clear defensive philosophy under Todd Bowles: sell out to stop the run, force the opponent to become one-dimensional and funnel production into the passing game. That can create some frustrating inefficiency for an offense, but it can also create a lot of opportunity for an alpha receiver.

Jefferson is exactly that.

Murray is expected to return, and even if there is some rust, the quarterback play should be a step up from what Jefferson had to work with. We have seen Murray support high-end wide receiver seasons before, and Jefferson should be the player who benefits most from the upgrade.

The Buccaneers have surrendered plenty of passing production over the past couple of seasons, and the matchup may push Minnesota away from its preferred run-heavy identity. If Tampa Bay takes away the ground game, Murray should be forced to throw—and Jefferson should be the big-time target earner.

At 40 cents, I like taking the shot on Jefferson getting to 80 yards.

Adonai Mitchell 50+ Receiving Yards

The Jets should be in a negative game script against the Lions, which is exactly what we want for receiving-yardage markets. Geno Smith has been formidable, the offensive line has held up and New York has enough capable pass catchers to keep the ball in the air if Detroit gets ahead.

Mitchell has a slightly higher target share than Garrett Wilson through two weeks, and his 59% air-yards share is massive.

That is the key for a 50-yard contract. He doesn’t need 10 catches. He needs a few opportunities downfield, and the role gives him a chance to clear this number quickly.

Mitchell is dealing with a finger injury, so confirm that he is active before buying the contract.
