Week 9 Wide Receiver Streamers For Fantasy Football: Target Makai Lemon
Jorge Martin released the three wide receiver streamers for fantasy football in Week 9.
Welcome to Week 9, and it’s starting to get serious in those fantasy streets. Teams are really starting to separate themselves. And if you’re looking to make a charge for the playoffs, we’ll ride shotgun with you. We also get a bit of a break on the teams on bye, as the Steelers and Titans aren’t filled with fantasy WRs worth starting. But we can always use a temporary upgrade for a week or more.
Let’s get into some streamers. As always with wide receivers, we’ll mine the fantasy football rankings for players outside the top 36. Make sure to check out our fantasy football projections to get further confirmation why these players are targets. Lastly, all stats versus each position group listed below are from our wonderful DvP tool and any utilization data came from our UR Score.

Wide Receiver Streamers for Week 9
Caleb Douglas | Dolphins vs. Lions
Douglas has run 84% of the routes the past two games since he returned to the lineup, and has an 18% target share. Fantasy managers would like to see that come up, and a matchup with the Lions could be the environment for that to happen. The Lions are fifth in points scored. And while the Dolphins may have a feisty defense, it won’t be enough against the Lions. With Malik Willis having to pitch it to keep up with the Lions, Douglas will be a primary target.
Makai Lemon | Eagles vs. Giants
With DeVonta Smith on the shelf with a hamstring injury, Lemon has become the de facto WR1 for the Eagles. He’s drawn 17 targets and turned them into 13 catches for 124 yards and a score. The Eagles will be on bye Week 10 in what’s looking like a lost season, so it may not make sense to give Smith through the break to get full healthy. Since Michael Wilson put up 95 receiving yards in Week 4, no WR has gone above 62 receiving yards against the Giants. It’s a tough matchup, but Lemon is a volume play.
Jordan Addison | Vikings vs. Bills
This one is all about the matchup, and since the game is on Monday Night Football, all will be focused on if this call is right. First off, Josh Allen making the Vikings have to put the pedal down on offense is the goal here. Justin Jefferson will get his looks from Kyler Murray, but Addison will see some deep shots like the 51-yarder against the Lions. The Bills are bleeding 30.8 FPG to WRs, so the possibility that Addison could make them pay with a long shot is really good.
