Week 8 Wide Receiver Streamers For Fantasy Football: Target Tre Tucker

Jorge Martin grabs ahold of the wide receiver streamers for fantasy football in Week 8.

Hello Week 8, we’re almost halfway to the fantasy championship week. How’d that happen? We’re also heavy into bye weeks, and that means Nico Collins, Chris Olave and Malik Nabers, among others, are leaving your starting lineups this week. It being Halloween week, does that leave you scared? Not to worry, we’ve got you covered.

Let’s get into some streamers. As always with wide receivers, we’ll mine the fantasy football rankings for players outside the top 36. Make sure to check out our fantasy football projections to get further confirmation why these players are targets. Lastly, all stats versus each position group listed below are from our wonderful DvP tool and any utilization data came from our UR Score.

Wide Receiver Streamers for Week 8

Tre Tucker | Raiders at Jets

Trusting a Raiders pass catcher not named Brock Bowers is not an easy task. The case can be made that Michael Mayer is the No. 2 target on the team, though Tucker is gaining steam after catching 10 balls for 200 yards and 3 TDs in the past two games. The Jets are in the middle of the league, allowing 25.7 FPG to WRs. But they have allowed 5 TDs to the position in the past three games.

Ja'Kobi Lane | Ravens at Bills

Please, Lamar Jackson, we hope your ankle is healed up this week. America would love to see you and Josh Allen lock horns again in both your primes. And playing Lane would be a nice piece on a great offense in a game that has a line of 53.5. Lane just ran 75% of routes and drew 5 targets for the second game in a row. Someone needs to catch passes other than Zay Flowers, so take a shot with the fast Lane.

The Bills are bleeding fantasy points to WRs—35 FPG, most in the league—and will score plenty themselves. Garbage-time alert for Tucker.

Jordan Addison | Vikings at Lions

There wasn’t much to be enthused about the 3 targets that Addison drew against the Colts, turning it into 2 catches for 20 yards. But that 90% route participation was encouraging, and he’s hit at least that percentage in all five games he’s played in.

The Lions got healthier and played better against the Packers, but that’s just one game. They’re still third in the league at 186.8 receiving YPG given up to WRs. With Justin Jefferson getting top billing (and coverage), Addison will be on the field plenty and will be competing with T.J. Hockenson for second on the team in targets.
