Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings Early Look: Brock Bowers Returns As A Top-20 Play

Three weeks in the books means a trio of data points at our disposal. Let's take an early peek at Matthew Freedman's Week 4 fantasy football rankings to see how the first two weeks of action have shifted them.

Risers In Early Week 4 Fantasy Football Rankings

Jeremiyah Love | Cardinals | RB9 (14 overall)

It's taken three weeks, but we may finally be seeing the Jeremiyah Love backfield takeover that we hoped for in Arizona. The snaps flipped in Love's favor in Week 3, with him garnering 63% to Tyler Allgeier's 37% while dominating the rush attempt share (78% to 7%). His 91 Utilization Score was a season high along with his RB3 finish in PPR formats (21.9). We came into this season expecting the Arizona offense to struggle and not hang with teams. Still, Jacoby Brissett and company have defied those expectations, as they did last season.

Love has the chance to build on a breakout Week 3 with a Week 4 date against the Giants, who are allowing the fifth-highest fantasy boost to the RB position (+3.3), giving him high-end RB1 upside. He also has a Week 5 date with the Lions, who are allowing every team they play to score at will. If you're a Love owner, you are licking your chops. If you aren't and feel like you can still buy for a mid-range RB2 price tag, now is the time to pounce. There's a chance this is the lowest his price will be for the rest of the season.

Brock Bowers | Raiders | TE1 (17 overall)

Brock Bowers made his 2026 debut in Week 3, and what a debut it was. He ran 92% of the routes and commanded a 41% target share (0.34 targets per route run) with a 9.3-yard aDOT, 40% air-yard share, and a 100 Utilization Score for 22.6 PPR points. From a pure utilization standpoint, it quite literally doesn't get better than this. Klint Kubiak had him running routes all over the field, à la Jaxon Smith-Njigba's route tree with Kubiak last season, and this Raiders offense has been far more than serviceable to open the season.

He gets a juicy matchup against the Saints in Week 4, a team sporting a +4.5-point fantasy boost to tight ends, and this game is a dome game. He checks in as a clear top-20 overall play for the week.

Jaylen Warren | Steelers | RB15 (26 overall)

For the first time in his career, we saw Jaylen Warren operate as an unquestioned RB1, and the production was exactly what we had all hoped. With Rico Dowdle sidelined, Warren accounted for 91% of the snaps and 85% of the rush attempts with a 70% route rate. He turned this role into 20.6 PPR points (RB8 finish) even while leaving meat on the bone with an 87-yard rush called back on a DK Metcalf hold and a long run that looked like a potential touchdown that didn't materialize because he tripped on his own feet.

With Dowdle listed as a DNP on Monday, it's looking more and more like Warren will assume the same role he did in Week 3 for Thursday night's divisional game against the Browns, making him a smash-start and top-15 RB on the week.

Early Fallers In Week 4 Fantasy Rankings

Jameson Williams | Lions | WR29 (58 overall)

The ceiling is still there for Jameson Williams in this Lions offense, but his start to the season has been far from what any fantasy manager had hoped. His 90% route rate is in line with expectations, but his current WR52 standing in PPR formats is not, and it's in large part due to a 16% target share (0.15 targets per route run) and garnering only 28% of the air yards. The biggest difference, however, is his lack of post-catch production:

With this Lions offense funneling so much production through Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown, we're likely going to need an injury to boost Williams' floor, but again, the ceiling remains. He's a prime buy-low candidate, but is understandably falling down the Week 4 ranks.

Rhamondre Stevenson | Patriots | RB28 (70 overall)

After a damning fumble in Week 2, Rhamondre Stevenson seemed to reclaim his role in Week 3, but it's very clearly not a backfield to get excited about with TreVeyon Henderson healthy. Stevenson saw 53% of the snaps in Week 3, but only 29% of the rush attempts. He did still get the high-leverage touches, posting a 50% route rate, 10% target share (0.17 targets per route run), and 50% of the inside-the-five attempts, but his 53 Utilization Score is a far cry from what we want.

He's ranked below Henderson in Freedman's early rankings and feels like a shaky RB3 at best with a middling ceiling and low, low floor.

Colston Loveland | Bears | TE13 (82 overall)

For the first time this season, Colston Loveland is ranked outside of the top 12 tight ends, even after posting some season-highs in Week 3 with Case Keenum at the helm. While his 74% route rate was lower than what we saw in Week 1 (89%), it was a +5% jump from Week 2, and his 12% target share and 0.15 targets per route run were both his highest marks of the season (as were his 7.1 PPR points).

The issue? That still stinks, especially for a player largely drafted in Rounds 4 and 5. His season-highs were basically mitigated by his 1.0-yard aDOT (lowest of the season), and it was his first game of the season without a target in the end zone.

At this point, he's a player you can consider benching for someone like Dalton Kincaid or Juwan Johnson, but certainly not someone I'd be looking to sell. As crazy as it sounds, I'm still in the buy-low camp, as three consecutive bad weeks could have the Loveland manager in your league ready to sell low.
