TreVeyon Henderson: High-Upside RB or Fantasy Football Handcuff?

TreVeyon Henderson: High-Upside RB or Fantasy Football Handcuff?

Back in my day, you would be able to draft a guy like TreVeyon Henderson in Round 8.

In 2026? Not the case. He’ll cost you a fourth-round pick.

That should sound crazy to you, but it’s also a reflection of the current RB landscape.

Despite that lofty ADP, he’s still only the RB20 off the board, which speaks to how RB-thirsty drafters are for running backs this year.

Anyone with even a sliver of upside is priced at a premium.

Up to this point, I’ve been hesitant to pay that premium for Henderson. This is an RB who played just four snaps in the AFC Championship game. He was mostly a non-factor in the Super Bowl. When push came to shove, the team simply didn’t trust him.

But here’s the thing …

We know for a fact that Henderson has league-smashing upside. In the three games Rhamondre Stevenson missed in the middle of the season (Weeks 9-11), Henderson delivered half-point PPR scores of 10.7, 27.5 (RB4) and 29.8 (RB3). He also managed 29.1 points (RB3) in Week 15 in a trailing game script vs. the Bills when Stevenson was healthy.

It’s clearly not about upside when it comes to Hendo; he has it in spades. The question is trust.

And based on this most recent report, Hendo’s dedicated this offseason to focusing on “blocking and receiving”—the two areas where trust features prominently for a coaching staff.

There’s no point in wishcasting Stevenson away from this team. He’s going to be out there whether you like it or not.

But if Hendo can earn the trust of the coaches, he should have no problem increasing his snaps from the paltry 43% he played last year.

If not? That’s an expensive price to pay for a handcuff RB.

Years Of Guarantees With Josh Allen

If you’ve had Josh Allen in fantasy any year since 2020, you’ve been more than happy. He’s been the QB1 five times in that span, the only year he didn’t finish up top being 2022, when he fell all the way to QB2. He just finished his follow-up to his 2024 NFL MVP season with 3,668 passing yards and 25 TDs, adding 579 rushing yards and 14 more scores on the ground. Betting against him continuing his fantasy dominance for another five years would be ill-advised.

That’s exactly what the Xfinity 5-Year Price Guarantee means for your wallet: 5 years. The same price. No contracts or commitments. Draft 1 Player From Each NFL Team

Just one?! That’s right, if you could take one player from every NFL team, who would you take.? Forget that there aren’t that many 32-player rosters out there—maybe Ian plays in one of those leagues—but if you could take just one player on the Saints squad, who would cooterdoodle take? If it’s the Seahawks, we know who Kendall is taking, cough, JSN, cough. We gave Adam Pfeifer that challenge, and he more than lived up to it. Here’s one of his choices for Duuuuval!

Trevor Lawrence broke out last year, finishing as the QB6 in fantasy. But from Week 12 on, he won leagues, ranking as the QB1 (26.3 PPG). During that span, Lawrence also posted a 9% designed rush rate, which ranked third among signal-callers. He’s the one who gets to benefit from a deep WR room and a terrific playcaller in Liam Coen. If I’m waiting on the quarterback position, Lawrence is someone I’m targeting.
