Tennessee Titans Fantasy Football Team Preview For 2026

Ian Hartitz checks in on all things Tennessee Titans from a fantasy football perspective ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

The 2025 Titans were unanimously expected to, well, suck … and they did! Even their three wins were pretty wild: The early-season 22-21 W against the Cardinals remains one of the dumbest games of all time, they survived a 31-29 shootout against Shedeur Sanders and the Browns and defeated the Chris Oladokun/Gardner Minshew-led Chiefs. That's it!

Sure, there was some good. Cam Ward flashed some tantalizing arm talent and off-script ability. Chimere Dike led the league in all-purpose yards. Tony Pollard cleared the 1,000-yard threshold again. And DT Jeffery Simmons earned first-team All-Pro honors. But otherwise? YIKES, this was a bad football team.

The front office didn't wait to make big-time changes, as HC Brian Callahan was fired midway through October. This wound up being just the tip of the iceberg, as more sweeping moves impacted every level of this organization:

  • Former Jets HC, and more recently 49ers DC, Robert Saleh is the new head ball coach. He's flanked by OC Brian Daboll (former Giants HC) and DC Gus Bradley (former Colts DC/49ers assistant HC/Jaguars HC).
  • The team made sure to get Cam Ward more help, spending the No. 4 overall pick on stud Ohio State WR Carnell Tate and handing pint-sized slot maven Wan'Dale Robinson a fancy four-year, $70 million contract.
  • Additional resources were thrown at the defense: Ex-Broncos EDGE John Franklin-Myers (3 years, $63 million), ex-Saints CB Alontae Traylor (3 years, $58 million), and ex-Giants CB Cordale Flott (3 years, $45 million) were given a LOT of dollars to take their talents to Nashville, while the team also used its additional top-100 draft picks on Auburn EDGE Keldric Faulk (1.31) and Texas LB Anthony Hill (2.60).

As always: It's a great day to be great.

Is Cam Ward poised to take a leap in Year 2?

The good from Cam Ward's rookie season revolves around him usually making one to two absurd plays per week thanks to ridiculous arm talent and a penchant for avoiding sacks. Not many QBs have a two-minute mixtape of highlights this cool.

The bad from Ward's debut campaign comes down to the reality that pretty much every stat we care about says he was quite bad overall.

Cam Ward among 43 QBs with 150+ dropbacks in 2025:

  • EPA per dropback: -0.12 (41st)
  • Completion percentage over expected: -2.9% (36th)
  • Success rate: 39.5% (40th)
  • Yards per attempt: 5.9 (39th)
  • Passer rating: 80.2 (38th)
  • PFF pass grade: 56.4 (40th)

Of course, the other side of this is: How many quarterbacks would have been capable of putting up even average numbers in this dismal offensive environment? This offense ranked 27th in my "Supporting Cast Rating" and offered arguably the single-worst group of pass catchers in the league. Throw in a rather lackluster scheme as well as an offensive line that finished 2025 ranked as PFF's 23rd overall unit, and you have pretty much anyone's idea of a miserable offensive environment.

Will Ward be a late-round gem in fantasy?

Are both Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears great Zero-RB picks?

Arguably! We'll start with Pollard, who joins Derrick Henry as the only running backs with 1,000+ rushing yards in each of the last four seasons. Of course, Pollard wasn't exactly clearing that mark with flying colors, and we haven't quite seen the same dynamic game-breaker since his unfortunate broken leg back in the 2022-23 playoffs.

Tony Pollard PPR points per game:

  • 2022: 15.6 (RB8)
  • 2023: 13.1 (RB23)
  • 2024: 12.5 (RB22)
  • 2025: 10.9 (RB30)

The 29-year-old veteran doesn't exactly have the same jets these days. Guys like Mark Andrews and J.K. Dobbins posted a faster top ballcarrier speed (Next-Gen Stats), and only Bucky Irving and Kareem Hunt posted a lower explosive rush rate. Pollard's end-of-season run was fun—he went 25-161-2, 14-104-1 and 21-102-0 on the ground in Weeks 14-16—but it's tough to find many stats these days that paint him as anything more than a dirt-average running back.

And then there's Tyjae Spears, who has flashed some serious tackle-breaking ability during his first three seasons in the league. Seriously: Nobody has avoided more tackles per touch (33.4%) during the past three seasons among 48 running backs with at least 300 touches! Sure, that stat is partially skewed by Spears not having the most volume, and a lot of it coming in the passing game, but there's still no doubt that the 25-year-old talent has some serious juice.

Can both Pollard and Spears help out in fantasy?

Who is the best click at cost inside this sneaky-solid WR room?

Well, No. 4 overall pick Carnell Tate is the favorite to lead the way. And why not? There's a LOT to like about the latest first-round Buckeye. I highlighted three strengths from Tate's game in my pre-draft breakdown on him:

And then there's Wan'Dale Robinson, who earned 140 targets in back-to-back seasons with Brian Daboll in New York. Kudos to the pint-sized (5-foot-8, 178 pounds) slot maven for making some meaningful improvements in yards per reception (7.5 vs. 11) and yards per target (5 vs. 7.2) from 2024 to 2025. The film didn't make me want to claw my eyes out this time around.

The argument for clicking Robinson comes down to the reality that he's pretty easily the cheapest receiver who posted a top-15 finish in PPR points per game last season.

Could both Tate and Robinson be bargains on draft day?

Is Gunnar Helm what late-round tight end dreams are made of?

We're talking LATE-round tight ends at this point—Helm is currently going at the Round 15-16 turn in early drafts—but the Texas product does deserve credit for making the most out of his opportunities in Year 1. This is some good company!

TEN_titans-logo.svg Predictions for the 2026 Tennessee Titans

Win total prediction: The Titans' 6.5 win total comes after the Titans managed only 6 wins … across the last two seasons combined. A Year 2 leap from Ward, improved defensive performance thanks to Robert Saleh and the newcomers, combined with a fourth-place schedule could help yield far better results, but that's a lot of variables right there! I'm going under 6.5 wins for a team that sure looks like it still boasts the worst roster in this division.

Bold fantasy call: Tyjae Spears winds up being the most productive running back in Tennessee and rewards Zero-RB drafters with an RB30 finish in PPR points per game.

Last season predictions: UNDER 5.5 wins (hell yeah, brother), and Calvin Ridley supplies top-20 PPR goodness in fantasy land (he got hurt! Things were definitely going to go super well if he hadn't! I swear I'm not coping! Nobody say that I'm coping!).
