Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Football Team Preview For 2026
Ian Hartitz breaks down everything you need to know about the Seattle Seahawks ahead of the 2026 fantasy football season.
The reigning, defending, undisputed Super Bowl champions of the world look like a very real repeat threat ahead of 2026. Such is life for a franchise that employs evil defensive genius Mike Macdonald and reigning AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Seattle Seahawks 2026 Team Preview

While key contributors like OC Klint Kubiak, RB Kenneth Walker, EDGE Boya Mafe and S Coby Bryant will be missed, Sam Darnold should still have plenty of firepower on offense after the front office managed to bring back Rashid Shaheed in free agency and used their first-round pick on Notre Dame RB Jadarian Price.
Throw in a pair of top-100 draft pick additions to the secondary, and this (again) looks like one of the more complete rosters in football.
What follows is a fantasy-focused team preview of the Seattle Seahawks ahead of the 2026 season. Make sure to check out our fantasy football rankings for updated player ranks all year long.
As always: It's a great day to be great.
Just how great was Sam Darnold in 2025?
- QB1: Sam Darnold (QB23)
- QB2: Drew Lock
- QB3: Jalen Milroe
Amazing—particularly in the first half of the season. Overall, Darnold posted objectively great marks in EPA per dropback (+0.16, 11th), success rate (53.3%, 4th), and completion percentage over expected (+5.2%, 4th), looking every bit like one of the game's best pure throwers of the football along the way.
Does Darnold Carry Value In Superflex Leagues?
What is the ceiling for Jadarian Price while Zach Charbonnet is sidelined?
- RB1: Jadarian Price (RB23)
- RB2: Zach Charbonnet (RB45)
- RB3: Emanuel Wilson (RB66)
Potentially pretty high! The Golden Domer was a walking big play during his time in South Bend, making all kinds of big plays behind Jeremiyah Love while also producing some serious fireworks as a kick returner.
Overall, no draft-eligible running back created more "cool shit" than Price in 2025. This is thanks to the 22-year-old's FUN combination of home-run speed and tackle-breaking ability.
Is An RB1 Role In The Cards For Jadarian Price?
Does Jaxon Smith-Njigba deserve to be fantasy's overall WR1?
- WR1: Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR3)
- WR2: Rashid Shaheed (WR62)
- WR3: Cooper Kupp (WR95)
- WR4: Tory Horton
- WR5: Jake Bobo
While us alleged experts over at Fantasy Life have the audacity to rank Ja'Marr Chase and Puka Nacua ahead of the NFL's reigning Offensive Player of the Year, there's no doubt that JSN is firmly in that conversation. After all, these are the only three players that Fantasy Life projects for 150-plus targets, and Smith-Njigba's 21.2 PPR points per game last season only trailed Nacua.
Should You Draft Jaxon Smith-Njigba As The WR1?
Does AJ Barner deserve late-round consideration?
- TE1: AJ Barner (TE24 in Fantasy Life ranks)
- TE2: Elijah Arroyo (TE43)
Fun fact: Barner was the NFL's best short-yardage *rusher* in terms of 1st down percentage on 3rd/4th down carries with three or fewer yards to go (87.5%). Only one of the Seahawks' tush push aficionado's rush attempts went for six points, but either way, hell yeah!
Credit to Barner for emerging as Mr. Reliable in this offense; his seven receiving touchdowns across the entire season were good for the second most on the team last season. Some potential good-and-bad outcomes for the Michigan man ahead of 2026 …
Is He A Late-Round Sleeper Or Bye-Week Filler?
Predictions For The 2026 Seattle Seahawks
Win total prediction: The NFC West remains loaded, and dealing with a newfound first-place schedule won't be easy. Still, there's enough youth and continuity on both sides of the football for me to take OVER 10.5.
Bold fantasy call: Jadarian Price supplies some fun big plays, but unfortunately loses out on enough goal-line and pass-down work to finish outside of fantasy's top-30 running backs.
Last season predictions: UNDER 8.5 wins (whoops), and Kenneth Walker to record a top-eight fantasy finish (also whoops, but at least the curtain call was cool!).
