Kendall's Key Questions for Week 5

Steve - AZ: With all this talk regarding Tyreek Hill, is he worth a stash?

With what we know right now, I'd let your other leaguemates spend money on Tyreek Hill. First, the NFL says it is currently reviewing Hill's personal conduct, while his agent told ESPN that he could be close to negotiating a new NFL contract. That in and of itself is a mess; then we have to take into consideration that Hill is trying to return from a horrible injury he sustained last September, where he damaged multiple ligaments in his left knee, including his ACL. It was only a few months ago when Hill posted that he had "no power in his left leg".

The rumors are that Hill could be signed by the Chiefs, but nothing is making me want to roster him at this moment. The only place I think it could be acceptable is if you are in a very deep league and have a winning record; otherwise, Hill might just clog a roster spot for the time being.

Matt - TX: Who to start week 5 (Full PPR): QB: Trevor Lawrence vs Philly (in London) or Brock Purdy vs Seattle D (in Seattle)?

Wow, I have both of these quarterbacks separated by one spot, but I have a slight lean to Trevor Lawrence against the Eagles. He's my QB6 on the week, and Brock Purdy is my QB7. The Eagles' defense is not necessarily daunting, and the only other real mobile quarterback they have faced this season was Jayden Daniels (who finished with 31 rushing yards). Philadelphia right now is 18th in passing yards per game allowed, and I like the potential that Lawrence brings in fantasy with healthy weapons.

It's really hard to fade Purdy, though, especially after the first four weeks he has put up. These two teams know each other very well, and the Seahawks' defense (besides facing the Commanders) has held quarterbacks to low fantasy totals—Drake Maye, Jacoby Brissett and Justin Herbert all had under 10 fantasy points. If you change your mind and go Purdy, I wouldn't blame you in the slightest. This is a pretty nice problem to have!

Patrick - FL: Desperate for TE streamer. Options (None good) Mike Gesicki, Greg Dulcich, Chig Okonkwo, Michael Mayer or Oronde Gadsden

It's tough out there for the tight ends, but these aren't the worst options in the world! I'm rolling with Mike Gesicki this weekend, even if we see Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins able to go. This team is facing the Dolphins before they have their bye week, so I think Gesicki could be used more in this spot. With Chase and Higgins dealing with injuries, Gesicki saw a season-high 69% route participation in Week 4 and also scored for the third time in four games. The Dolphins have allowed the 4th-most fantasy points to tight ends so far this season.

Tim - NY: Any concern with [Jeremiyah] Love given his post game interview? He said the other 2 RBs on the team were in better shape than him. More touches for Allgeier?

Ugh, those quotes after Week 4 were pretty brutal. I don't think any Jeremiyah Love managers are feeling great after that, but you'll still need to roll him out there. The Cardinals are taking on a Lions defense that is allowing 4.6 YPC to running backs. I do agree that Tyler Allgeier is going to continue being involved, and that puts him in a firm FLEX range for Week 5. Allgeier is our RB33 consensus this weekend.

Mark- Arizona: Who are you most excited to start in Guillotine Leagues this weekend?

Aaron Jones going up against the Saints! This feels like an easy answer for as long as Jordan Mason is out, but Jones has been operating as the RB1 for the Vikings, and it just isn't going to stop this weekend in a pretty solid matchup. First off, the Saints are No. 32 in defensive rush DVOA (19.6%).

Add on the fact that Jones has 60 carries over the past three weeks and has 10+ fantasy points each week since the start of the season, and we're cooking here. This New Orleans defense allows the most FPPG on planned rushing plays, according to ESPN, so sign me up for another solid Jones start.
