Kendall's 3 Must-Draft Players in Fantasy Football 2026

As you prepare for your fantasy football drafts, make sure you won't be leaving behind a player with amazing upside. Check out Kendall's top three must-draft players in 2026.

It's draft season, so we don't need any long introductions at this point. Time to lock in. Here are my three must-draft players that I want to leave every draft on my rosters. But before going any further, make sure to check out our latest fantasy football rankings.

For fantasy football this year, I feel like there is a big divide and no middle ground for how people look at the DJ Moore trade to Buffalo, but I'll make myself super clear … I am drafting a lot of Moore shares. The less optimistic side would be looking at Moore's final year in Chicago, where he had only a 16% target share (his lowest since his rookie year in 2018). I think a fresh start is exactly what he needs to give us WR2 upside in 2026.

We have seen a decline throughout the past three seasons, with Moore averaging 16.9, 14, and 10 fantasy points per game over that span.

Josh Allen is a quarterback upgrade, and while I don't believe that Moore will have the same role or production as Stefon Diggs did with the Bills, I do think there should be more optimism around the No. 1 target in a high-scoring offense like the Bills.

Dwain McFarland projects the Bills as the No. 19 passing unit (227 YPG), but ranks them first in offensive touchdowns (3.1 per game). Fantasy Life also has Moore projected for 105 targets, 70 receptions, 885 receiving yards and 7 touchdowns. Sign me up!

Once things clicked for Trevor Lawrence in a new Liam Coen-led offense, he took off—from Week 12 through the Wild Card round, he averaged 25.4 points per game, which made him the No. 1 QB in fantasy over that time.

I think Lawrence can now do that for a full season. The place where I could see some regression is in his rushing touchdowns, because 9 from 2025 is a lofty number to beat, but I could still see him lock down 5 on the ground. Last season, Lawrence accounted for 10% of the designed rush attempts and locked down a 7% scramble rate.

The team brought back all his pass-catching weapons, and Coen could be the true key who unlocks everything for his quarterback. This is one of those ADPs that doesn't make much sense to me, but drafters might be nervous that the old Lawrence shows up again.

There is immense upside through the air and on the ground for Lawrence, and with consistency in Coen, he should be able to give us the fantasy upside we want all season long, not just from Week 12 on this year.

This is not an offense that many people are looking forward to watching this season, especially with Matt Nagy taking over as the offensive coordinator, but I still see a path for Isaiah Likely to be the No. 2 pass catcher on a pretty unremarkable (in terms of weapons) offense.

This feels like a bet from Harbaugh that without an All-Pro tight end in his way, we could finally see Likely reach his full potential.

In four seasons, Likely has played in 63 games and has recorded 135 receptions for 1,568 yards and 15 touchdowns. He has totaled 740 yards after the catch in those four seasons as well. Now, these aren't necessarily numbers that are jumping off the page, but he's a later-round tight end who has moved up the rankings for me because he could drastically outperform his ADP.

Likely fits better as a downfield threat for Jaxson Dart and just overall boasts more upside than Theo Johnson, but it's more than likely we see both on the field together regularly. According to ESPN, the Ravens last season (under Harbaugh) used 12 personnel the third most in the NFL at 35.9%. But is it crazy to think Likely could be the No. 2 target on this team? I don't think so.
