Fantasy Football Buy, Sell, Hold: Buy A Justin Herbert Breakout
Cooterdoodle is buying, selling, holding and ... taking a shot at our editor?!
The buyin', sellin' and holdin' doesn't stop. It's mid-June, and draft season is around the corner.
Let's not waste any more time.

Isaac TeSlaa | WR | DET
Oh, I'm sorry. I can't be high on a guy because his teammates are also good at football?
Many (almost everyone) will say that Isaac TeSlaa's rec/TD rate is unsustainable. And why? Because through Weeks 1-14, 50% of his receptions were TDs??
Unsustainable, my ass. I believe in TeSlaa.
To me, he isn't some fluke. TESLAA IS AN UNSTOPPABLE END ZONE ALPHA DAWG. I don't care if he pisses on my floor every other week, because I choose to believe in something bigger than myself (he's listed at 6-foot-4, 214 lbs, with 10-in hands btw).
He's my unstoppable end zone alpha dawg. If you want to join the hype train with me, let's go. Otherwise, you're not welcome once it leaves the station.
Justin Herbert | QB | LAC
Mike McDaniel is a weird fella. He'll probably talk about how close to death we all are. And he'll be quoted on winning, talking about how ... to win a game, you can't lose the game. But weird as his press conference quotes are, I do have faith in his ability to further unlock Justin Herbert.
Under McDaniel, Herbert should be getting the ball out much quicker, which will benefit the signal caller who was sacked 54 times last season.
But despite being the third-most-sacked quarterback in the league, Herbert still tied for seventh in passing TDs (26) and ninth in passing yards (3,727)! I don't know about you, but if I were constantly being mauled down by defenses, I wouldn't be putting up top-10 numbers.
Herbert is Fantasy Life's QB8 in our consensus fantasy football rankings for a reason, projected at over 3,800 yards and 25 TDs.
Do you believe in Mike McDaniel? I do.
Tyler Shough | QB | NO
Oh, look at me. A Saints fan telling you to buy the Saints QB. YEAH! I AM! Because my home league is full of native Louisianans, I’ll never get my hands on Tyler Shough.
But you can.
He is one of the best late-round QBs right now, but Shough will never last near his fantasy football ADP for me.
But for you, he will. You have a chance at drafting Fantasy Life's QB21 in Rounds 12/13. And you have a shot at rostering the beginnings of the Saints' next franchise QB.
Go look at the tape from Shough's final weeks of 2025 again if you want to feel alive.
Shough made Chris Olave look like Chris Olave again!! But more than that, the Saints have added help at RB with Travis Etienne and Jordyn Tyson at WR.
That's right. Shough has weapons now. Plural.
Fun fact: Shough was still throwing TDs even when his weapons were Kevin Austin Jr. and Devaughn Vele.

Rome Odunze | WR | CHI
I'll keep this one short. I won't be drafting Rome Odunze because I'll be hoarding Colston Loveland in every draft I'm able to.
Chris Rodriguez | RB | JAX
To be clear: This isn’t because Bhayshul Tuten’s last name was what finally got my kid interested in fantasy football—though I do owe him one.
And it’s not because of the seven touchdowns Tuten scored last season while playing "backup" to Travis freaking Etienne (though it’s hard to ignore the role he carved out for himself as second fiddle).
This has everything to do with Rodriguez’s foot procedure that has him currently sidelined and the buzz that Tuten has been getting in OTAs while Rodriguez nurses his injuries.
The roles of the entire RB room in Jacksonville feel murky. I'm not confident in how things will shake out this season, but right now, if I had to pick one Jag RB, it’s Tuten.

Puka Nacua | WR | LAR
I’m writing this one for our editor, Joe, who keeps trying to poach Puka Nacua from me in our Fantasy Life Dynasty League, where I'm the reigning champion (never let them forget).
Day and night. Trade offers here. Trade offers there.

The answer, Joe: YOU DON’T.
