Could Greg Dulcich Emerge As A Sleeper Tight End For Fantasy Football?

Ian Hartitz checks in on the Miami Dolphins tight ends, highlighting Greg Dulcich as a dark horse to lead the offense in targets.

If ever there were a situation where a tight end could be a top-2 target in an offense, it's the Dolphins. Greg Dulcich is a veteran with enough talent to think he could compete with the wide receivers in this group to be the top target on the team. Ian Hartitz breaks it down as part of his Miami Dolphins Team Preview.

Should Greg Dulcich be expected to lead this offense in targets?

Fun fact: We mentioned before that the Dolphins have the league's cheapest group of wide receivers—they ALSO have the NFL's cheapest tight end room. All in all they are spending nearly $10 million less 2026 dollars on their pass catchers than the next-cheapest offense (Chargers). Good grief.

Anyway: There actually is a lot to like about Dulcich when it comes to the late-round tight end landscape. He really made the most of his opportunities in 2026.

That said: it's just tough to picture Dulcich going too crazy inside an offense fully expected to, you know, suck. Now, dominating target share in a bad offense could still produce quality fantasy results for the rising fifth-year veteran; just realize Dulcich already failed to land a full-time role LAST season in an offense that had new-OC Bobby Slowik on the staff.

To summarize…

  • Bull case: The 26-year-old talent builds on his solid second half of 2026 and emerges as Malik Willis' go-to option inside an offense with the league's single-worst wide receiver room.
  • Bear case: Dulcich struggles to separate from Day 2 rookie Will Kacmarek (a more traditional inline option), rendering him as one of many complementary options inside the league's single-least productive passing attack.

I tend to lean toward the latter scenario, but hey, we're talking about a literal final two-round pick in best ball/TEP leagues here. Having any level of upside is tough enough to find in that range, anyway.
