Trevor Lawrence Dynasty Fantasy Football Value: The Most Bulletproof Jaguar To Target

Is Trevor Lawrence the next great QB in dynasty fantasy football? It's time to get in on the former No. 1 overall pick before it's too late.

The Jacksonville Jaguars offense has been one of the biggest discussion points across the fantasy landscape this offseason, and it's easy to understand why. 

After a massive leap in offensive production during Liam Coen's first season as head coach, fantasy managers are trying to figure out the best way to get exposure to this offense. 

Two seasons ago, Jacksonville ranked just 25th in total yards and 26th in points per game. One year later, the Jaguars climbed all the way to 11th in total yards and sixth in points per game. 

That kind of improvement raises the question: Who should we be investing in?

Should we bet on a Brian Thomas bounceback? Is Parker Washington the better value? Do we want Jakobi Meyers? Could Travis Hunter make a meaningful impact on offense? What about Chris Rodriguez or Bhayshul Tuten out of the backfield? 

There are lots of options, but after thinking through all of them, I believe the best answer is actually the easiest one—Trevor Lawrence.

During the second half of last season, we finally saw Lawrence become the player the Jags expected him to become when they selected him No. 1 overall in the 2021 NFL Draft. 

Lawrence finished the 2025 season sixth in passing yards (4,007) and fifth in passing touchdowns (29). He also added 359 rushing yards and 9 rushing touchdowns. 

Altogether, Lawrence accounted for 4,366 total yards and 38 touchdowns, helping him finish the season as the QB4 overall. 

Lawrence essentially gets to play point guard for an offense loaded with talent. 

The amount of talent around him makes it difficult to predict which individual skill-position player will return the most fantasy value. Targets and touches could be spread between several different players from week to week, but Lawrence will be at the center of all of it, regardless of where else the production goes.

If BTJ bounces back, Lawrence benefits. 

If Parker Washington takes another step forward, Lawrence benefits.

If Meyers remains a reliable target or Hunter develops into a legitimate offensive weapon, Lawrence benefits. 

Instead of trying to identify which individual piece of the offense will emerge, fantasy managers can simply invest in the quarterback responsible for distributing the ball to all of them. 

Of course, Lawrence is no longer available at last year's discounted price. 

Coming off the best fantasy season of his career, his dynasty value has already experienced a massive rise. Lawrence has climbed from the QB23 to the QB10 in KeepTradeCut's Superflex rankings in just one year. 

That is a massive swing, but his second-half production suggests there may still be room for him to climb. 

From Weeks 9 through 18, Lawrence averaged 26.61 fantasy points per game. His production became even more impressive down the stretch, as he averaged an absurd 30.86 points per game from Weeks 12 through 18.

It may sound aggressive, but if Lawrence can carry anything close to that production into next season, there is a legitimate path for him to become a top-five dynasty quarterback. 

Just look at some of the quarterbacks currently ranked ahead of him—Lamar Jackson is QB5, Joe Burrow is QB6, Justin Herbert is QB7 and Patrick Mahomes is QB8. 

Those are all established dynasty assets, and nobody is suggesting Lawrence should immediately be ranked ahead of them. However, those quarterbacks are either already in their 30s or pushing 30. 

Lawrence is still only 26 years old. 

That age advantage, combined with the ceiling he displayed during the second half of last season, gives him a realistic path to overtake some of those names in dynasty value eventually. 

You aren't buying Lawrence at the bottom of his market, but paying a higher price does not automatically mean you are buying at the top. 

Another season resembling what we saw during the back half of 2025 could move him from the back end of the dynasty QB1 tier into the elite group at the position. 

So, what is the best way to invest in Jacksonville's ascending offense? 

My answer is Trevor Lawrence.
