Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings Risers & Fallers: Jalen Coker, DK Metcalf & More

With two weeks of action under our belts, I took some time to adjust my dynasty fantasy football rankings. Let's get into a couple of the biggest risers and, consequently, some of the biggest fallers in my ranks.

Risers In My Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings

Jalen Coker, WR - Panthers

One of the more intriguing names I was targeting in dynasty fantasy football this offseason was Panthers wideout Jalen Coker. The main reason was that he was part of a common situation I like to target for fantasy purposes: an offense that is likely to have a condensed, or funneled, passing game.

On paper, that's what it looked like it would be for the Carolina Panthers in 2026, especially after losing rookie wideout Chris Brazzell (knee) for the season.

Coker only played in 11 games in each of his first two seasons, but he finished strong down the stretch in 2025, scoring three times in his final five games. Now that we're a pair of games into the 2026 season, the Coker hype is paying off in a big way.

In Week 1, he went 8/138/2 TDs on 9 targets. He followed up that impressive performance with an 8/66 line on 9 targets on Sunday afternoon.

Again, it's only been two weeks, but it's been awesome to see Bryce Young elevate both his play and this entire offense. For as open a division as the NFC South has been in recent years, it would be awesome to see this team put together a run this season.

Alongside Tetairoa McMillan, Coker is now a must-start for dynasty fantasy football managers until something changes.

Dalton Kincaid, TE - Bills

Heading into the 2026 season, it has been three seasons of disappointment and perpetual "what ifs" for Dalton Kincaid managers. Under Josh Allen, the Bills have had absolutely zero problems moving the ball, racking up a ton of yards, and scoring a slew of TDs. However, there never seemed to be a consistent enough share for Kincaid.

His talent has never been a question; it's always been role and usage in this offense. Now, two weeks into this season, Kincaid has turned into one of the premier TEs in the league seemingly overnight. Here are his numbers through two weeks:

14 targets
12 receptions
225 receiving yards
1 TD

As it currently stands, DJ Moore (shoulder) is considered day-to-day after suffering an injury on Thursday night. If he's limited at all, there could be additional opportunities for Kincaid, who tends to operate more as a receiver anyway.

The Bills offense, specifically Allen, is already pouring it on this season. It's certainly looking like it's "Super Bowl or bust" for Buffalo, and Kincaid has put himself squarely in position to be a massive contributor to that goal in 2026.

While it's still too early to bump him into the tier of guys like Trey McBride, Kincaid has done enough early this season to warrant sliding him into the middle of the top-12 of dynasty TEs.

Fallers In My Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings

Carnell Tate, WR - Titans

This is not so much a downgrade or an overreaction to a small sample size as it is just simply a reaction to recent information. Generally, I make adjustments to my dynasty rankings about once per month. If season-ending injuries occur, I'll certainly make adjustments then, but other than that, I believe we need several weeks of new information to make meaningful adjustments.

We are now two weeks into the season, and it's been about a month since my last dynasty rankings update. I believe it's important to have that context in mind with this player.

Carnell Tate has been a disappointment relative to expectations throughout his first two games. The 4th overall pick last spring, there was a high level of expectation for Tate heading into his rookie season. While the Titans' struggles should surprise absolutely no one, it's still reasonable to have expected more of Tate than what we've gotten.

For now, I have no issue bumping Tate down a few spots. This is not to say he is not a valuable dynasty asset. In fact, there's a simultaneous take you could have that suggests Tate is now a prime "buy low" candidate in dynasty fantasy football.

There's no reason to sell Tate in dynasty formats. That would be foolish given the small sample size. However, we've seen enough of this Cam Ward-led offense to reframe our expectations for how we should view Tate moving forward.

DK Metcalf, WR - Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in such a fascinating spot for dynasty fantasy football. Despite being led by a future first-ballot Hall of Fame QB, it's clear that Aaron Rodgers is no longer capable of elevating an offense to the heights necessary to make a deep playoff run, especially in a loaded AFC.

DK Metcalf is the one I am most concerned about. He's still 28 years old but is likely on the tail end of his prime window. Through two games, he has just eight total receptions for 67 yards.

Assuming this is, in fact, Rodgers' last season, whoever takes over next year will have their own growing pains/learning curve to go through. Whether it's one of the other rostered QBs, Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, Drew Allar or someone else entirely, there's no guarantee that they'll have an immediately strong connection with Metcalf.

At this stage of his career, given his current offensive environment, I am waiting for Metcalf to have a strong performance or two before ultimately flipping him via trade. I don't see a ton of long-term upside for the veteran in his eighth season.
