Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings: How High Can Jaxson Dart Climb?

Sam Wallace breaks down his QB9 through QB12 in his latest dynasty fantasy football rankings update.

The bottom end of my top-12 QBs is packed with fascinating prospects. There's no denying the top-end, game-breaking talent that the elite options bring to your roster. However, we also know that those players come with a premium price tag. This tier of players could offer comparable upside at a fraction of the price. Let's take a closer look at my QBs 9-12 in my dynasty fantasy football rankings.

QBs 9-12 In Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings

  • Dynasty Ranking: QB9

Kicking things off with Jaxson Dart, he was the starter in 12 games as a rookie for the New York Giants and finished with the following stat line:

  • 2,272 passing yards
  • 15 TDs
  • 5 INTs
  • 487 rushing yards
  • 9 rushing TDs

The passing numbers won't excite you, but if there's anything we've learned about QBs over the last several seasons, it's that rushing QBs can elevate their fantasy floor to offset any inconsistencies in their passing game. That's exactly what we saw with Dart. He scored 20+ fantasy points in 10 of his 12 games. That's a pretty solid baseline for your QB.

Heading into Year 2, Dart will have a strong coaching staff around him. That includes head coach John Harbaugh, offensive coordinator Matt Nagy, offensive assistant Greg Roman and passing-game coordinator/QBs coach Brian Callahan. In addition, the top end of Dart's offensive playmakers remains strong:

There's a ton of depth at the wideout position, but it's mostly meh-type players who you'd have a tough time starting in fantasy each week. Even so, with the right coaching staff in place and another year of development from Dart, there should be enough opportunities for Dart to take another step forward in Year 2.

Even just looking at this season, we have Dart projected to finish as the QB11. Perhaps even more intriguing is our projection of him finishing as QB5 in rushing yards. That detail, coupled with what we saw in limited action last season, is what makes him a unique dynasty asset with a wide range of outcomes.

  • Dynasty Ranking: QB10

There aren't as many QBs in the league who have as much raw talent and potential as Caleb Williams. At the same time, for every awe-inspiring throw that he makes in crunch time, there are an equal number of head-scratching throws that make you look away from your TV.

After one season, the Ben Johnson/Williams pairing seems to be paying off, and there's plenty of reason for optimism in Chicago. Last season, Williams threw for almost 4,000 yards and 27 TDs and tacked on another 380 rushing yards and 3 TDs. However, he completed just 58% of his passes. There's certainly room for growth in that department, and Johnson is the right person for the job.

From a broader perspective, you'll be hard-pressed to find a more talented offense from top to bottom. Luther Burden, Rome Odunze, Colston Loveland and D'Andre Swift are as good a top four as any you'll find in the league. In fact, our projections have all of them finishing with 190+ fantasy points.

The Bears' offense is set to be elite for a while, and the orchestrator of this finely tuned machine is going to be Williams (and Johnson). If Williams can continue offering even a slight rushing floor and tighten up his passing accuracy, he has immense upside in fantasy football.

  • Dynasty Ranking: QB11

There's a pretty strong theme emerging with this tier of QBs. Each has a highly competent and qualified head coach with a track record of success. That's what you want for your young QB if he's looking to take the next step in his development as an NFL QB.

The Bo Nix/Sean Payton marriage has worked out pretty well so far. Nix was an older prospect coming in as he's already 26 years old after just two seasons in the league. Even so, he already has a pair of top-7 finishes under his belt. There's also a very strong case to be made that the Broncos would have made the Super Bowl had he not gotten hurt in the playoffs last season.

Nix offers a touch more rushing upside than Williams, but not as much as Dart. Across his 34 career regular-season games (Nix hasn't missed a game in his two years), he's averaging more than 23 rushing yards per game. That may not sound like a lot, but adding an extra 2.3 points to your QB's total each week starts to add up over time.

From an offensive perspective, we already know the head coach is elite, and now Nix has a true No. 1 wideout in newly acquired Jaylen Waddle. At this stage of his career, Courtland Sutton is likely better suited to be a WR2 while Waddle can assume true top-end duties. The RB room is also pretty deep with J.K. Dobbins, RJ Harvey and rookie Jonah Coleman.

The AFC is loaded with QB talent, and Nix offers intriguing upside at a lower cost than some of his counterparts.

  • Dynasty Ranking: QB12

The Packers are my favorite team, but I try to be realistic about what dynasty fantasy football managers can expect from Jordan Love. In his first season as a starter back in 2023, Love broke out to the tune of 4,159 passing yards, 32 passing TDs and he also tacked on four rushing TDs.

Love has plateaued over the last two seasons, missing two games in each. He's also failed to top 3,400 passing yards in both 2024 and 2025. For some additional context, the last two seasons were also the first two with Josh Jacobs leading the backfield. The Packers have made it a point to run their offense through him while deploying their passing game to complement their rushing attack.

We could see a shift in how the Packers operate this upcoming season. Jacobs has been embroiled in some off-the-field controversy, although nothing has come of it yet. The team also saw the departures of wideouts Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks. That consolidation should actually be a benefit to the team (and fantasy managers) because there's now a bona fide top three in Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and Matthew Golden. Toss in a healthy Tucker Kraft, and Love has an excellent complement of weapons at his disposal.

I need to see Love pushing his passing numbers back up above the 4,000-yard mark for me to feel comfortable moving him up any further. For now, low-end QB1 remains his ceiling until we see a shift in the Packers' offensive identity.
