We are onto Week 8 of the NFL season. We get 11 games to break down for the Sunday DFS main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel. I'm going to be breaking down the top NFL DFS value plays on the slates. These are players that are not only in great spots, but will allow you to build out the rest of your lineup with spend-ups.

Almost every week, with injuries, or some mispricing, there are cheap value plays that project very well and are even cash game staples for that week. We’ve got some very enticing value pieces for us this week, let's get into it!

DraftKings and FanDuel NFL DFS Week 8 Value Plays

Rhamondre Stevenson - NE RB ($5,600 DraftKings, $6,500 FanDuel)

Starting this week's value plays is Rhamondre Stevenson. He is coming off of a big receiving game on Thursday night against the Bears, where he had a career high 93 receiving yards and a 48 yard touchdown catch right before halftime. He only had 6 carries for 22 yards, but he played 68% of the snap which is great to see. That receiving involvement gives him a nice floor. TreVeyon Henderson had just 3 carries for 9 yards, and Corey Kiner had 4 carries for 13 yards, so Stevenson remains the clear lead back. The Dolphins are allowing the second most fantasy points to running backs coming into Week 7, which makes this a great matchup. He is a great option in the midrange

Malik Washington - MIA WR ($4,400 DraftKings, $5,500 FanDuel)

Next, we get a value wide receiver out of Miami. Malik Washington has caught at least three passes in every game this season, and is leading the Dolphins in targets on the year. Last week was a quiet one, as he caught all 3 of his targets for 27 yards, his lowest target total of the season. That came with Caleb Douglas returning and scoring twice, and with Malik Willis only attempting 21 passes in the win over the Jets. Washington was limited in practice with a knee injury on Wednesday and Thursday, so make sure to confirm hes fully good to go here.

Mark Andrews - BAL TE ($3,400 DraftKings, $5,200 FanDuel)

Mark Andrews is a tight end that I love getting to for value this week. He has been a letdown this season, with just 26 catches on 37 targets for 204 yards and one touchdown through seven games, and he has gone 5 games in a row without 30 receiving yards. But Lamar Jackson is expected to return this week after missing three games with a high ankle sprain, and he logged a full practice, which is a huge boost for Andrews. His target share took a hit with Tyler Huntley at quarterback, and he led the Ravens tight ends with 3 catches on 4 targets last week. The matchup is a great one against a Bills defense that is allowing the third most points per game and has the second worst pass defense. This game has one of the highest totals on the slate at 54.5, and Andrews is pretty cheap here at the TE position.

Geno Smith - NYJ QB ($5,200 DraftKings, $7,000 FanDuel)

On to the quarterback position, I like Geno Smith as a value. He has been very efficient this season. Last week he went 23/30 for 287 yards, 3 touchdowns, and an interception in a loss to the Dolphins. He gets a great matchup at home against a Raiders team that has dropped four straight games and has had problems in the pass defense and in the red zone. Smith is a great way to save salary at QB while still getting a high floor. Garret Wilson is his first target. Its been a bit up and down for him, but we know the ceiling that he holds.

Keenan Allen - IND WR ($4,500 DraftKings, $5,800 FanDuel)

To end off, we have a wide receiver in Keenan Allen. With Alec Pierce (heel) on injured reserve, Allen has become Daniel Jones' go-to option, and over the three games before last week he averaged 9.6 targets per game. He had 8 catches for 82 yards on 11 targets in Week 6 with Tyler Warren out. Last week was a down week against a Vikings team that blitzed all game, as Allen caught all 3 of his targets for 31 yards, but he still led the Colts in catches and yards. Tyler Warren has missed two straight games, so if he is out again, Allen should be the top target in the offense. The Jaguars are a much better matchup than the Vikings. I am continuing to like the upside on Allen every week.

Week 8 doesn't give us a lot of injury driven value, as the injuries are light so far, so value is a bit thin. Of course be on the lookout over the weekend for players getting ruled out, and potential great value opening up Good luck, and let's all have a great weekend!
