NFL DFS Value Plays For Week 4: Dontayvion Wicks, Aaron Jones & More

We get a 12-game Week 4 slate this Sunday to break down. I'm going to be looking at the DFS main slates on DraftKings and FanDuel, breaking down the top NFL DFS value plays on the slates. Players that are not only in great spots but will allow you to build out the rest of your lineup with spend-ups. Almost every week, with injuries or some mispricing, there are cheap value plays that project very well and are even cash game staples for that week. We’ve got some nice value pieces for us this week; let's get into it!

DraftKings and FanDuel NFL DFS Value Plays For Week 4

Dontayvion Wicks - PHI WR ($4,300 DraftKings, $5,900 FanDuel)

The Eagles are going to look a bit different at WR this week with DeVonta Smith, who’s unlikely to play with a hamstring injury. This inserts Dontayvion Wicks as the WR1, followed by Makai Lemon at WR2. This makes Wicks the top projecting point-per-dollar play on the slate at WR, and a phenomenal-looking cash play. He is great salary relief and is in a spot here to get a ton of targets. It should be a good game environment here vs. the Rams as well.

Jalon Daniels - TB QB ($4,400 DraftKings, $6,400 FanDuel)

Starting in the absence of Baker Mayfield, Jalon Daniels comes in as our cheapest QB on both sites. Daniels is a slightly better-looking play on Draftkings, where people tend to play cheaper QBs more often. He is definitely worth a look in cash, as well as GPPs. His receiving group is not too enticing. It is spread out, and there is no confident piece to pair with him. The safest bet would be Emeka Egbuka, but I wouldn't feel great about any of them. It's okay to play him without a stack. Again, more of a cash piece to get you up to more spend ups at RB/WR.

Jeremiyah Love - ARI RB ($5,800 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel)

Cardinals RB Jeremiyah Love is coming off of a bell-cow back type of performance vs. the 49ers. The Cardinals stated that they would run a sort of hot-hand approach with Love and Tyler Allgeier. Love started well and was given the keys to lead the offense for most of the game. He had 21 rush attempts for 90 yards, as well as caught 5 passes for 19 yards. He has big-play upside any time he's on the field, and I like him here in a favorable matchup vs. a shaky Giants team.

Aaron Jones - MIN RB ($6,000 DraftKings, $6,600 FanDuel)

Aaron Jones is someone that I feel hasn't had his price adjusted enough in the absence of Jordan Mason. Jones was super cheap in Week 2, and they brought his price up to the midrange of RBs last week, and it has stayed there for this week. I still think this is a little too low in a good matchup here vs. the Dolphins. They should be playing from ahead here, and the Vikings should lead on Jones to carry them in a from-ahead game script. Jones has had 40 total rush attempts in the two games without Mason, along with 5 rec in Week 3. I like this usage to continue into Week 4. He looks like one of the best points-per-dollar running backs.

Tre Harris - LAC WR ($4,100 DraftKings, $5,400 FanDuel)

To end off this week's value plays, I'm going to mention Tre Harris. Ladd McConkey was a non-participant in practice Thursday, which is not a good sign for his outlook going into the weekend. Assuming that he does not play, Quentin Johnston and Tre Harris get much bigger roles. Harris comes in at a big discount compared to Johnston, and may arguably have a higher floor with the role that he's in. He's coming off of a strong Week 3 performance, having 6 receptions for 76 yards. It has been a good first few weeks for Harris, and he will look to continue that vs. the Seahawks. Make sure to check on the status of Ladd McConkey.
