FanDuel NFL DFS Picks For Falcons vs. Saints Single-Game Slate
Joe Metz breaks down who to build your FanDuel NFL DFS single-game lineups around for tonight's NFC South tilt between the Saints and the Falcons.
As a note for those dipping into the FanDuel single-game streets for the first time, they changed their format to match DK last season—a 1.5x multiplier for the MVP slot, with player salaries also costing 1.5x as much if you want to use them in your MVP slot. With a $60,000 salary to fill out six lineup spots, you're allocated an average of $10,000 per lineup slot, something to be mindful of when selecting your MVP and FLEX positions.

FanDuel MVP Picks For CLE vs. PIT Single-Game Slate
Bijan Robinson (RB, ATL) - $20,100: Sure, the insertion of Michael Penix boosted the entire Atlanta offense, but Robinson has been in a class of his own all season, even before the QB change. He's commanded 68% of the rush attempts, 22% of the team's targets, 100% of the i5 rush attempts, and 23.7 points per game this season with a 95 Utilization Score. There is no safer floor and no higher ceiling on the slate, and he's worth paying every penny for. This slate is shaping up to be very stars-and-scrubs like, and Robinson may end up being the MVP in all three of my lineups on Monday night.
Tyler Shough (QB, NO) - $19,200: If Robinson isn't my MVP in all three lineups, it's because Tyler Shough will occupy one of the spots. He's been downright elite for fantasy purposes this season, scoring at least 22 points in all three games and finishing at a top-8 QB or better every week. The Saints rank 2nd in the NFL in dropback rate (69%) and 2nd in the NFL in pass rate in leading scripts (69%)—they literally don't take their foot off the gas, and the absence of Travis Etienne in the backfield will only push them further in that direction. Against a leaky Falcons defense, Shough is positioned for another big game and provides a nice $900 savings off of Robinson up top.

Chris Olave (WR, NO) - $12,200: The Saints have a highly consolidated passing game for as much as they sling it, and Olave has been the guy moving the chains for them all season. He has a 29% target share this season, with back-to-back weeks of 30%+ shares, and at least 19.7 FDP and a 93 Utilization Score in every game. While both he and Drake London have a case for the WR1 on the slate, Olave is my pick in the higher-octane offense without another superstar to cede touches to.
Drake London (WR, ATL) - $10,800: Averaging over 20 FDP per game over his career with Penix at the helm, London's chemistry with his QB1 was on full display last week, as he accounted for nearly 80% of the team's receiving yards with a 41% target share, 0.35 targets per route run and a 91 Utilization Score. My favorite builds on this slate are of the stars-and-scrubs variety where I jam in London, Olave and the two MVP pieces above and punt the last two pieces of the lineup, because that's just how high the floor/ceiling combos on these guys are relative to the rest of the field.
Bryce Lance (WR, NO) - $2,800: We have to find punt value somewhere on this slate with the four spend-ups taking priority, so why not on a $2,800 wide receiver who has run 77% of the routes this season with an 80%+ route share in each of the last two games? His target share leaves a lot to be desired, but all it takes is one from a guy this cheap, and with how often Lance is on the field, it wouldn't be surprising if he walks away with more than that.
Daniel Carlson (K, NO) - $6,800; Nick Folk (K, ATL) - $6,400: If you are balancing out your builds a bit, getting the floor production with respectable ceilings from these two kickers makes sense, especially with other fill-ins like the Saints RBs priced way up for life without Etienne. I would prioritize Carlson as the home favorite in a dome.
Others I will be mixing into my FLEX pool: Michael Penix (QB, ATL, $11,600), Alvin Kamara (RB, NO, $9,400), Kyle Pitts (TE, ATL, $4,600)
Players I will be underweight on/fade: Kendre Miller (RB, NO, $7,400), Brian Robinson Jr. (RB, ATL, $5,800), both DSTs
