FanDuel NFL DFS Picks For Broncos vs. Seahawks Single-Game Slate For Week 6 Thursday Night Football
Joe Metz breaks down how to build your FanDuel NFL DFS single-game lineups for Week 6's Thursday Night Football game between the Broncos and the Seahawks.
Week 6 kicks off tonight with a pair of 3-2 teams, as the Seahawks travel to Mile High to take on the Broncos as 3-point road favorites.
In a game with such a low total and a concentrated offense on one side, we're bound for a high-variance slate. There are a couple of clear spend-up options on the Seattle side, but when it comes to the Denver side, it feels difficult to trust any of the skill-position players at their elevated price tags, considering how unreliable and frankly bad they've been this season. With that being the case, I'll be leaning heavily into a concentrated pool up top, leaning into the floors of both kickers, and finding my value in the cheap secondary options on the Broncos side with Pat Bryant on the shelf.
Let's get into my favorite FanDuel NFL DFS picks for the Broncos vs. Seahawks single-game slate.
As a note for those dipping into the FanDuel single-game streets for the first time, they changed their format to match DK last season—a 1.5x multiplier for the MVP slot, with player salaries also costing 1.5x as much if you want to use them in your MVP slot. With a $60,000 salary to fill out six lineup spots, you're allocated an average of $10,000 per lineup slot, something to be mindful of when selecting your MVP and FLEX positions.

FanDuel MVP Picks For DEN vs. SEA Single-Game Slate
Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR, SEA) - $19,500: The only reason I am not going 100% JSN in my MVP spot is salary constraints, as getting down to his QB saves you a healthy $2,400 on the slate. Otherwise, in a vacuum, JSN is in a tier of his own. He not only leads his team in target share (by a wide margin, 35% to 12% for Rashid Shaheed), but he also ranks first in the entire NFL. The Broncos are typically regarded as a tough matchup, but without Patrick Surtain to shadow JSN, there's simply nobody on the defense who can cover him. He outprojects every player on the slate by at least 2 full points in our NFL DFS projections, making him the clear-cut choice here if you can fit him.
Sam Darnold (QB, SEA) - $17,100: Dipping down to Darnold to save some money and avoid pure punting on this slate feels like it's going to be a chalky move, but it feels right. We've seen both a high ceiling and a low floor from Darnold this season, and there's been more volatility in his play than we'd like, but operating as the QB on the team projected to win while throwing to the best pass catcher on the slate carries value.
FLEX Picks For DEN vs. SEA Single-Game Slate On FanDuel
Bo Nix (QB, DEN) - $12,000: You could easily swap Nix and Darnold's places in this article, as there's a higher likelihood Nix drops back more as a home underdog for a team posting a 64% dropback rate in close games (12th); Darnold got the edge due to the slight discount and edging Nix out in base projection. Like Darnold, the floor is scary for a QB, especially with the lack of rushing from Nix this season, but this slate is littered with low-floor, high-volatility plays. Despite Nix looking awful this season, the fact that he's playing QB gives him more stability than just about every skill-position player on the slate.
Emanuel Wilson (RB, SEA) - $10,600: The Broncos have shown vulnerability against the run game this season, allowing the 7th-most points per game (23.7) and the 2nd-most opportunities (31.4, +2.1 boost) to the position this season. Wilson is not a running back to write home about, basically able to get only what is blocked for him, but he's now posted back-to-back games with 20 or more carries and six targets across the two games. He's got one more week of being a workhorse back with a goal line role, and that's all that matters on this slate.
Jason Myers (K, SEA) - $6,400, Wil Lutz (K, DEN) - $6,200: A gross, low-total game implies fewer touchdowns among two offenses that can be prone to stalling out. Both offenses have capable kickers who have shown significant ceilings, and my preference is Myers, who's the road favorite off a 23-point game last week.
Others I will be mixing into my FLEX pool: RJ Harvey (RB, DEN, $8,200), Seahawks DST ($6,600), Evan Engram (TE, DEN, $5,600), AJ Barner (TE, SEA, $4,600), Troy Franklin (WR, DEN, $3,800), Lil'Jordan Humphrey (WR, DEN, $1,400)
Players I will be underweight on/fade: Jaylen Waddle (WR, DEN, $10,000), J.K. Dobbins (RB, DEN, $9,600), Courtland Sutton (WR, DEN, $8,800), Cooper Kupp (WR, SEA, $7,200)
