Week 6 of the NFL season is here. It's crazy that the regular season is ⅓ of the way over; it feels like it just started. We are starting the week off with a TNF matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos. The Seahawks are 2.5-point favorites in a 40.5-point total on the road. This should be an exciting close game!

I'm going to break down the DraftKings NFL DFS picks for the showdown slate. First, I'll highlight some players that I want to target in the captain spot, who get a 1.5x FP boost. High-upside players are who I want to target here, and the lower the ownership, the better. I will then break down some flex plays I like to round out your lineups. Let's dive into it!

Week 6 TNF SEA vs DEN DraftKings NFL DFS Showdown Picks

NFL DFS Captain Picks For Broncos vs. Seahawks Showdown Slate

Jaxon Smith-Njigba ($17,400): JSN comes in as the most popular captain pick here. He is easily the most optimal and is definitely the cash-game captain for this showdown. Outside of a letdown in Week 4, Smith-Njigba has had over 25 FP in each game. He is the top fantasy WR in the NFL and a matchup-proof WR1 every time he's on the field. Getting to JSN captain leads to Seahawks onslaught builds, so I don't mind the fade in GPPs. For such a closely projected game, not many Broncos are being clicked …

Bo Nix - DEN QB ($14,400): Nix is my second preferred captain pick. He is still playable in cash contests as we are going for raw projected points. Nix can also get it done with his legs from time to time, so I like him at captain in any format. Broncos pass catchers aren't getting clicked, as salaries fall in favor of the Seahawks. I like getting to Nix CPT in GPPs and getting to a Broncos pass catcher or two in the flex to get different. RJ Harvey is also viable in a stack with Nix, as he's been involved in the passing game.

RJ Harvey - DEN RB ($9.600): My contrarian captain pick for this showdown is RJ Harvey. As I mentioned with Nix, Harvey is very involved in the passing game. He had a monster 10-reception game for 68 yards in Week 4. He is in a time share with J.K. Dobbins, but his receiving upside makes him my preferred player here at a nice discount. I love getting to him at his price point. He should be pretty low-owned at captain.

FLEX Picks For The NFL DFS Showdown Slate Between The Seahawks and Broncos

Emanuel Wilson - SEA RB ($9,400): Wilson has emerged as a bellcow back in the Seahawks backfield. With Zach Charbonnet and Jadarian Price both out, Wilson is slotted into the RB1 position here. In his two weeks in this role, he has totaled 20 and 21 rushing attempts, as well as 2+ receptions per game. This makes Wilson stand out as a great play here. He is pricey, and choosing between him and Sam Darnold is a tough choice. Darnold is going to be the higher-owned play and definitely has a higher floor, but I like taking Wilson in GPPs. I think his ceiling is higher than Darnold's.

Rashid Shaheed - SEA WR ($3,600): Shaheed has had an underwhelming start to the year with the expectation that most had on him. Most expected him to be the clear WR2 and be in a role similar to Devaughn Vele for the Saints. Shaheed is playing about 50% of snaps, which isn't horrible, and has still been healthily involved. We also saw him get 2 rush attempts a few weeks back, which was stated as part of the plan. The Seahawks are trying to get him involved any way that they can, and all it may take is one ceiling game for him to start booming. I like taking him over Cooper Kupp and AJ Barner here, who are in the same price range.

Wil Lutz - DEN K ($5,400), Jason Myers - SEA K ($5,000): I'm going to finish off my flex plays mentioning the kickers. I am a sucker for kickers on showdowns, and always find myself happily landing on them to round out my lineups. This game is projected to be a lower-scoring and grittier game than most. I like this game script for kickers, as getting points on the board is going to be important for both teams. These are two very experienced and trusted kickers, and I expect them to be given chances at FGs in dicey fourth-down situations. Other good values include Cooper Kupp ($3,200), AJ Barner ($4,200), and Troy Franklin ($3,000).
