After a shellacking of the Packers by the Falcons on Thursday Night Football, our attention turns to the Sunday main slate and the best NFL Player Props for Week 3. Let's run through a trio of props that the Fantasy Life betting staff is on.

Three Player Props For NFL Week 3

Geno Smith - o218.5 Passing Yards (-115, bet365)

Kody Malstrom: The emergence of Adonai Mitchell has played a major role in Smith’s successful start to the year, giving his QB another reliable pass catcher to throw to while simultaneously pulling defensive attention away from Garrett Wilson. When forced to stretch out, the width of Smith’s passing lanes will widen, improving the quality of his throws.

The Lions' inability to collapse the pocket with just the defensive line will also reduce the amount of havoc in Smith’s throws, ranking near dead last in pressure rate. By trimming down on his total number of turnover-worthy plays, Smith will be able to keep the Jets' drives alive, leading to an uptick in his total number of pass attempts to help clear the over on his passing yardage prop.

Tyler Allgeier Under 33.5 Receiving Yards (-114; FanDuel)

Matt LaMarca: Allgeier may be the starting RB in Arizona, but his hold on that job is tenuous at best. The Cardinals selected Jeremiyah Love with the third overall pick, and you don’t draft a running back that high and keep him on the bench.

Allgeier did lead the Cardinals’ RBs in snaps last week, but his rushing share took a step back. He finished with just 31% of the team’s rushing attempts, and he finished with just 10 rushing yards.

Allgeier did get to 61 rushing yards in his first game of the season, but he had 17 carries in a game that the Cardinals led throughout. The Cardinals figure to be playing from behind in this contest, and Love’s role should only continue to grow. Add it all up, and the under with Allgeier has some value.

Darren Waller Anytime Touchdown (+340, DraftKings)

Justin Carlucci: Darren Waller’s touchdown number immediately jumps off the page.

You can get Waller at +340 to score on DraftKings, and I think there is real value there given how his role has grown from week to week. This did not just appear out of nowhere in the regular season, either. Carolina used Waller in the slot and moved him around during camp, which was a strong indication that the Panthers had plans to involve him near the goal line.
