Matthew Berry.webp

Hi, I’m Matthew Berry and my mission at Fantasy Life is to give people a fantastic fantasy football experience — whether it's through our award-winning tools, award-winning content and newsletter, award-winning radio show... however you get your fantasy, we want to give it to you and be your favorite (award-winning) spot to get it.

Fantasy Life has developed cutting-edge tools for rankings, waiver wire, start/sit decisions, trades, and everything in between — all customized to your teams, players, and formats. Your league is unique — we built Fantasy Life because we think your advice should be, too.

We also feature NFL Draft coverage that merges "real-NFL" draft analysis and passes it off directly to our dynasty and fantasy experts. You love the draft? So do we? You need dynasty advice the day it's over? We're here for you.

ELIOT CRIST, CEO

Eliot is the CEO of Fantasy Life, formerly the COO of FTN, and the CPO of TQE prior to that. Eliot has a strong background as both a content creator and product innovator in the fantasy and gaming space. Seen on CBS and heard on Sirius XM, Eliot has been playing fantasy football for over 16 years and betting on the NFL for 11 years. He brings a passion for football, entertainment, tools, and data as the team lead that will be reflective in the entire Fantasy Life experience.

DWAIN MCFARLAND

Dwain is the Lead Fantasy Analyst and Director of Analytics of Fantasy Life. He is best known for the Utilization Report, which led to his first full-time role in the industry at Pro Football Focus. Dwain’s experience and background have helped him craft a unique voice in the fantasy football community. He has placed highly in multiple national season-long contests, including three top-five finishes at the FFPC. He is the creator of the Rookie Super Model, an industry-leading metric that predicts rookie performance in the NFL. Before beginning his fantasy career in 2018, Dwain led product strategy and data and analytics teams for one of the largest healthcare improvement companies in the nation.

IAN HARTITZ

Ian is a senior fantasy analyst at Fantasy Life and he truly believes every day is a great day to be great. He's spent time with Action Network, NBC Sports and Pro Football Focus over the years, writing and podcasting about all things fantasy football along the way. Ian's process relies on a mix of film analysis and data study; whatever is needed to get the job done (job done). There's no reason fun can't be had along the way — we do live on a rock floating around a ball of fire after all. Outside of football, Ian enjoys MMA, his dogs Lilly and Bruh, Kona Big Wave, and candles.

Cooterdoodle started working at Fantasy Life in 2021, graduated with her doctorate in 2022, and won a $0.10 bet with 240-1 odds in 2024.While she’s not saying Fantasy Life had anything to do with her aforementioned accomplishments, every good scientist knows that correlation does imply causation.

JAKE TROWBRIDGE

Jake graduated from University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Journalism, which he rarely uses. Jake prefers to look on the sillier side of fantasy football, and incorporates celebrity impressions and song parodies into his advice. When he’s not making short form video content for Fantasy Life, he’s sending far too many trade offers in his dynasty leagues.

CHRIS ALLEN

Chris Allen is a Fantasy Analyst and Content Coordinator at Fantasy Life, but he’s also a mechanical engineer by trade that leverages his analytical background to study the various components of fantasy football. He has spent the past 20+ years intimately involved with the game as a coach, fan, analyst, and reporter. SAM WALLACE

Sam Wallace has contributed to Dynasty Football Factory, RotoViz, FTN, and the Fantasy Life Newsletter with a primary focus on dynasty fantasy football. Sam also runs the Fantasy Life Discord. He has a Masters Degree in Educational Administration and Curriculum and is currently a high school teacher. When not writing about fantasy football (or teaching), he loves spending time with his beautiful family.

JONATHAN FULLER

Jonathan Fuller is the type of person who drafts best ball teams in March and competes in a 96 team dynasty/devy league. He spends more time than he would care to admit listening to fantasy football podcasts and discussing strategy on Discord and Twitter. Outside of fantasy football Jonathan writes for Spike Week, works in the wealth management industry, and enjoys following the other football ⚽️ ... as well as spending quality time with his wife and their puppy.

MATT LAMARCA

Matt LaMarca has worked full-time in the fantasy, sports betting, and DFS industry since 2018, with his work appearing on sites like The Action Network, DraftKings, Awesemo, and Props.com.
